Privacy policy

Effective October 1, 2026.

Information we collect

When you submit a consultation form we collect the details you enter: name, email, phone, state, your goal (franchise a business or buy a franchise) and optional business or investment details, and the franchise brand you asked about, if any. We also record the page you submitted from, campaign parameters in the page address, the referring site, the approximate country derived from your connection, the time of submission and the consent statement you accepted.

We use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics to count page views. We do not sell advertising on this site.

How we use and share it

We use form information to respond to your request and a SelectFranchiseList franchise advisor uses it to contact you by phone, text or email. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with franchisors or other companies without asking you first. We may disclose information when required by law.

Retention and security

Form submissions are stored in an access-restricted database and kept for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and you can opt out of further contact, by emailing hello@selectfranchiselist.com. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including California, may have additional rights, which we honor on request.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
